Liquid satin finish sealer for interior use. For use on unpolished natural stone, terracotta and cement tiles.
Suitable for all types of unpolished natural and artificial stone, matt porcelain, matt ceramic, terracotta, masonry, concrete and encaustic. Enhances colour and texture, protects against staining and stubborn dirt. Easy to maintain. Suitable for domestic and commercial use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Ensure that the surface is completely clean and dry. Retained moisture may cause the Stone Shield to dry opaque or prevent the seal from reaching full hardness.
Rough cut, textured or riven surfaces: Use a paint brush. Apply a thin coat evenly in one direction. Do not rub or buff. Allow to dry (1 hour minimum) Apply further coats at right angles to previous until an even film is created (max 6 coats).
Honed and smooth surfaces: Apply using a micro-fibre cloth or pad. Pour contents into a flat tray container. Soak up the solution with the cloth or pad and apply thinly and evenly to the surface. Apply further coats at right angles to previous until an even film is created (max 6 coats).
Do not over apply as too many coats may cause unsightly build up and/or reduce the efficiency of the product. Begins to harden after an hour, but will take a further 3 days to become fully water resistant. If in doubt experiment on spare tiles to establish the correct method of application and optimum number of coats before general use.

AFTER CARE
Routinely sweep the floor. Use Clean & Sheen to clean and protect treated surfaces. In areas where the seal becomes worn, apply more Stone Shield. At some stage, complete renovation of the seal may be desired. In this case use Deep Clean to strip the original seal before re-sealing.
STORAGE INFORMATION
Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment. Shelf life — up to 4 years for unopened containers.
NOTES
Avoid shaking the bottle prior to use. Frothing of liquid may lead to an inconsistent finish. Store in a frost-proof place. Avoid extremes of temperature. Do not use below freezing. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area prior to general application. Avoid using strong detergents to wash treated surfaces. On higher porosity floor materials, Stain Block Eco may be required prior to use of Stone Shield.

For parcels, no EORI or XI EORI number is required, and deliveries proceed as standard without additional customs documentation.

For deeper cleaning or to remove old wax treatments and stubborn stains, Fila PS87 is an effective alkaline-based cleaner. It’s particularly suitable for unpolished natural stone surfaces and general deep cleaning tasks.
If you need to remove post-installation residues or cement-based grout haze, Fila Deterdek is an ideal solution. It is specially formulated for acid-resistant surfaces and should be used with care, avoiding use on sensitive stones like marble or limestone.
