The Raimondi Clip and Wedge RLS (Tile Leveling System) is a precision tool designed for achieving a flat and even surface when installing tiles. Consisting of clips and wedges, this system helps eliminate lippage – the unevenness between adjacent tiles – during the tile installation process. The clips are inserted between tiles and the wedges are then gently tapped to create uniform pressure, ensuring tiles are aligned at the same level. This innovative system streamlines tile installation, enhances the final appearance, and reduces the need for extensive adjustments. It's particularly valuable for achieving professional and aesthetically pleasing results in tiling projects.
Step 1
After spreading your tile adhesive, first, insert a levelling spacer underneath the tiles along the 4 sides. Next, use traditional spacers as you normally would to square up the corners. For larger tiles, you may have to “double-up”, using two levelling spacers for each side.
Step 2
Set the tile and beat it with a rubber mallet.
Step 3
Use special traction-adjustable pliers to insert the wedge into the levelling spacers. You should pay attention not to pass the breakpoint.
Step 4
After waiting for the tile adhesive to set, you should remove the levelling spacers. You can use either the traction-adjustable pliers, a rubber mallet, or by kicking them out with your feet.
Finally, once the adhesive is set, you should remove the protruding part of the support by separating it from the base. You can do this by using the traction-adjustable-pliers, with a rubber mallet or even with feet. Then beat the spacer until it is parallel to the joint.
Shipping costs may apply depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order. We offer both nationwide and local delivery services. Smaller items are typically shipped via courier, while larger or heavier orders (such as tiles or stone) are delivered using a pallet network.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location and the nature of the items purchased. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, as pallet deliveries are kerbside and do not include unpacking or moving items indoors.
