Travertine Tiles

Travertine is closely related to marble (calcium carbonate) and is sometimes known under this generic name. It is a very hard stone but has holes in it, which is why it is either tumbled or filled. Tumbled travertine tiles are ideal for floors or walls. Filled and honed travertine is smooth and gives a much more contemporary effect.
